Home Sweet Home San Antonio :)

We moved into the new house today :) Big Thanks to Chris, Cole and Chad for all the help! It has been a long couple of weeks with packing and moving. We are nowhere close to being unpacked but we are moved in. After getting everything in the house we had our first cookout. I used pinterest and got some good recipes. Here are some yummy pictures.

Bacon Wrapped Cream Cheese Jalapeno Bites

Peanut Butter Chocolate Crescents

White Chocolate Cheesecake Ball

Deer and Shrimp Kabobs

We had a great time with the gang and puppies :) Now time to relax before spending Sunday unpacking.

Go Spurs Go and The Shakes

And the Spurs win!! We have been to two Spurs games and we must be good luck charms because they won them both. The first game we went to they beat the OKC Thunder. Tonight they beat the Memphis Grizzlies :) The games are so much fun and the people here treat the Spurs like college football in Alabama.

Spurs win :)
Now staying up late to see our cousin Ben Tanner and the Alabama Shakes on Letterman tonight :) Here is a video of the awesomeness that they are.

Home Sweet Home....Well Almost

Right now I'm so over moving and painting! But next week when I come home and have nothing to do to the house but enjoy it then I will be thankful that I did it this week. Last night we finished the half bath and it looks so good. I'm not a big decorator but we are really loving the color choices so far :)

Dark Blue :)

We finished up the kitchen tonight and we are done painting!!! YAY!!! I'm pretty excited about that. The master is a light brown so thanks to my parents for our house warming gift of a new comforter that matches it so no painting. :)  Tomorrow we are getting new hardwood floors and carpet.

Tournament Life and Blue Kitchen

I have a new found respect for people that work and do tournaments!! We just had our second stop of the Texas Team Trail at Ray Roberts and it kicked my tail! Last tournament was my first on this end of the tournament scale. I liked it better when I would just show up take pictures and then go home. They are a lot of work! Last tournament we stayed and came home on Sunday but since Easter was yesterday we drove home Saturday night. After a full day of working and about a 6 hour drive I got home Sunday morning at 2 a.m. I’m so glad that we have a month till our next one. But we did have lots of nice fish cross the stage

Winners!

The church that we are visiting did an Easter Cantata for the Sunday service. Almost everything is different in Texas even the churches. It was good but we sure do miss Brother Phillip and the Florence Baptist gang! After church we headed to have a wonderful homemade lunch with Chris and Cole. After a great lunch we all took a little bit of a nap….not quite long enough for me as today I feel like a truck has hit me.

In other news Jackson painted the kitchen while I was gone. It looks great! Next we will tackle the half bath and hardwood floors this week. The one thing I really don’t like about the house is that it is all tanish color but what we are painting. But I will tell you this I’m too busy/lazy to paint it all so tan it is for now. We are slowly moving things in to the house and will be all moved in by Saturday!!! I can’t wait!

Now after another long day it's bedtime!!

The Hour Has Come

17 When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.
“I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you. For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. 10  All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. 11 And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. 12  While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. 14  I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. 16  They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17  Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. 18  As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.  John 17:1-19

May we praise Jesus Christ our Lord for his passion, suffering, love, and sacrifice everyday!
